What I'm DOING...Wednesday :)

Yeah, I know, it's not What I'm Loving. It's been a crazy month week, so I'm just going to do a quick update. (But I talk a lot so my quick may not be your quick ;))
Student teaching is still going great! In the beginning I was super scared that I wouldn't really know much, but hey, it turns out I'm still pretty smart. I apparently retained a lot more information over the years that I thought I did! I take over full-time teaching in about a week and a half. EXCITING! I've also started co-coaching the freshman cheer squad. Talk about fun!

Miss America was this weekend. I absolutely love when people watch the pageant and tell me "hey I watched Miss America and thought about you!" Sigh. Can I pretty, pretty, please rewind some odd years and compete again?!? I can't even begin to describe how much I miss competing. I don't miss not eating much, but it was nice to have that strict motivation to be in shape! When I would train I would always remind myself exactly what it feels like right before going onstage in my swimsuit. If that's not motivation, I'm sorry for ya! I miss the makeup. I miss the BIG hair. I miss the dresses. I miss the thrill. I miss meeting so many new people. I miss the "pageant walk", "pageant smile", "pageant hair", "pageant stand", and "pageant talk"! Now, I really believed Miss Oklahoma was special this year, but I tried not to get my hopes up too much. I'm telling you that when it came down to her and Miss Wisconsin, I just stopped and starred, then resumed screaming "oh my gosh, this can't be happening! She has it, she has it!" I really believed 20 seconds before the announcement that I was about to hear, and watch, Miss Oklahoma's name be called. When it wasn't. I was shocked. But, I wasn't too shocked. Miss Wisconsin was gorgeous! And, I am sooo soooo proud that the pageant state that trained me is just ah-mazing, to say the least. I can't be any more proud of my pageant roots, that's for sure!

Can I reminisce? Please?!? This was at Miss Kansas City, March 2006. I was awarded 2nd runner up and won interview. I.MISS.THIS.

I recently started using Murad skincare products. I purchased the 30-day kit to see if it would work with my skin. I have to be honest, I've been using it since Sunday and haven't really noticed too big of a change yet. I'll keep you posted. I have noticed that my skin looks brighter, but my yucky blemishes haven't yet disappeared:(

My phone is turned off, if you've tried contacting me lately then you probably already know this! I'm horrible about making sure that my phone bill is always paid and I'm not sure why. And the past couple of weeks I have been way to busy to even talk on the phone. That, is a sad.day.
