I'm excited to blog again. The blog is coming along...it's on the way to being what I want it to be :) I don't have many pictures to share because I just got a new phone and it's currently updating. It feels
good to finally feel
good enough to sit down and blog. To this day I am absolutely blown away at how suddenly this sickness knocked me down. It crept and crept for a while, and I figured everything going on was just a part of getting older/graduating from college/moving to a new city/starting my career. I'm so glad that feeling that way isn't normal! I'm glad that I won't always be sick (hopefully!). I've never thought of being able to defeat something in my body, but I really am so determined to kick Graves in the
ass!
On to better things. In August I'm moving back to Lawrence.
YIPPEE! I know it'll be so different now, from when I lived there before, but I'm still excited. I've always really like Lawrence. I'm definitely going to miss Kansas City a lot though
. I am also really excited that my summer break starts in 18 days. i may or may not have a countdown going on.
I am starting Herbalife tomorrow. I got the vanilla shake so that I can flavor it how I want. I'm really anxious to see results.
A few weeks ago I stopped drinking soy milk. I never drank it by the glass, but I put it in my cereal every morning. Sometimes I eat a lot of cereal, like, for snacks and dinner.
GUILTY It never occurred to me that it would be unhealthy until the para in my classroom told me what she had read about it. I simply typed the words "soy" and "graves" into google and was disgusted with what I read. Soy actually has the ability to mess up the human endocrine system. None of my doctors seemed to care that I am a vegetarian. I have switched to coconut milk and feel so much better. I actually have energy to stay up past 10! I also have energy to run and play with the dogs. The other day I did Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 AND 30 minutes on the eliptical.
I'll put up some pictures later. Adios!
