I sincerely love summer nights. They remind me of cruising the back roads of Choctaw in my old camaro, along with countless other things. Summer, to me, will always be Oklahoma as strange as that sounds. I love listening to crickets and the warm breeze, I need to live somewhere that has summer weather year round :) I could probably, most definitely, live the rest of my life in summer-like weather, listening to John Mayer.and.drinking wine. I might need to win the lottery in order to do that, however. I do have a five-year plan to move to New England and I'm not sure why. I have started to think about some of the things I could get for my new classroom; I'll be teaching world history this year, so I would like to get some neat posters and I would also like to set up a collaborative learning nook with lounge chairs and and floor pillows.
I'm going to leave you with a few pictures of my summer. I got my first tattoo a few weeks ago (eek!) and have spent a lot of time in Lawrence with one of my dearest friends. I'm sad I put off going to Oklahoma, now I probably won't get to go. Sad face.
