Unfortunately, this post has to be short...but today I feel like writing because A) I haven't posted a blog in a while and B) I have a lot on my mind. Today it is April. I love this day because it is warm and sunny. I love warm and sunny weather. Next year as graduation approaches, as I've already disclosed to my dear mother, I will be applying for careers all along the southern part of the US. I'm bound to find something if I do this. Not only that, but I'm bound to be somewhere warm while in a career that I love. This approaching winter will be my last in this nasty weather!!!
Speaking of the weather...warm weather just warms my mood. It is so much harder to become discouraged or unhappy when trees and flowers are in full bloom and I have the opportunity to go outside and run, ride my bike, go to the lake, etc. Unfortunately, this warm weather and the urge to be outside 24 hours a day brings back distant memories. I miss my friends, some who are far away and others who are not too far away, and all of the memories we have made during the spring and summer months. Whether it was drinking sangrias on my balcony or walking down Mass. St. in Lawrence...man I miss those memories. I'm also becoming more aware of the fact that I need to make new friends...perferrably lady friends. I miss having shopping buddies, having friends come over and vice versa that I can talk to, run errands with, have coffee with, etc. I mean, realistically, Max doesn't talk back.
So here is to all of my friends whom I have made special memories with over the past couple of years...your presence in my life has meant more to me than you will ever know!
